All our bees are raised on Langstroth frames, making them fully compatible with Flow Hives and other Langstroth setups. We allow our Flow Hive bees to draw their own comb, rather than using wax foundation. This promotes colony health and allows our bees to build bespoke comb that suits their needs.
We passionately believe that our bees know best. Every one of our nucleus colonies is supplied with a queen naturally and carefully reared by their own bees, and with minimal disturbance from us. We're also proud to be raising bees that are well suited to our local area in the south of the UK.
Ensuring the good health of our bees is paramount. We run a programme of regular inspections and treat for Varroa mites throughout the year. We're thrilled to have supplied nucs to a growing number of new beekeepers, and are always on hand to answer any questions you may have!
